What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

Absolutely appalling service on return from Edinburgh Airport on 8th April due to aggressive demeanour of driver Andy. He was verbally abusive to several passengers, belittling one lady who had opened the mini bus van which he said contravened health and safety. He then proceeded to packed the mini bus full of people which resulted in 3 adults having to stand for the duration of the journey, with their heads bowed due to height restriction, and children who had to sit of each other's knees. Appalling - I will certainly not be using this company again. It's a shame that one person spoils an entire companies reputation.

Very resonable pricing and positoning to airport. But you have to be there plenty of time before your flight. In the morning it takes about 30 min from moment you arrived to car park and you came to departure desk.

The directions made the car park easy to find. The staff were efficient and friendly. We did not have to wait long for the transport. On return, the transport arrived promptly. I was greeted by name which was nice. The car was ready and waiting for me. Impossible to find fault. It was a totally satisfactory experience. My only comment would be if the weather were bad, the waiting areas would not hold many clients if it was busy at the time.

Couldn't fault the service (once we found it of course). The only minor issue is signage. I appreciate there are rules to follow about what you can and can't do but some sort of signs in the road before the turning and at the turning would have ben helpful.

On arriving at the airport I called the telephone number as instructed. After the recorded message I left may name, once again as instructed and proceeded to stance 7. On arrival we were met by an extremely ignorant driver who told me that I had not called in and in a very curt manner was allowed to get into the minibus. On arrival at the car park I showed him the number that I called to which he said that it was the wrong number and that they did not use an answering machine.......utter crap!! He still insisted that I was in the wrong despite the fact that a) I had called the number on the ticket and b) I was able to virtually repeat the recorded message word for word. I travel a lot and will probably pay a bit more next time to hopefully get a civil service.

Great service as always, was surprised that some other customers had left it so tight for time that they ran all the way into the terminal! Leave home in plenty of time then you won't have to give shady looks to the driver who is doing his job and driving to the road traffic and condition. Excellent staff despite rude clientele!

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
