What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

Quite close to the airport & fairly easy to find car park. Regular shuttle buses & short transit time. Found courtesy telephone to contact shuttle bus easily on my way out. As this was my first time finding the coach stand after holiday was a little awkward but it would be easier next time. No big problems.

From the moment you arrive at air park friendly staff are there to help, and when you return the car is sitting waiting for you. No need to go looking for it. I would not use anybody else now.

When returning home, it was 3 hours after landing before I got my car back. Buses are too infrequent and far too small compared to other operators

Wash very happy with outgoing transfer from car park to airport on 23rd July, driver was very pleasant and helpfull, and was normal size bus able to take all passengers and luggage,but was disappointed with the service on our return transfer on 31st July. Firstly is took ages for bus to arrive at bus stop to pick us up and when it did arrive it was only a mini bus which could not take all passengers who were waiting. As you can appreciate it when you arrive home from a 4 hr flight in early hours of the morning you you are expecting bus to be on time and an appropriate size bus sent to accommodate the number of passengers, as flight numbers are provided when booking I presume that car parks are aware when flights come in ,and therefore can be prepared for the numbers of passengers requiring transfer. We travel quite a lot every year and this is first time we have used Low Cost Parking but he return transfer service provided on this occasion would put me off using Low Cost Parking in future.

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
