What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

Driver took us to wrong Car Park - confusion btwn Flying Scot & Low Cost !!! Driver appeared to b in a hurry - driving a bit 'wild' !!! However, mini-bus was waiting for us on arrival, which is always good - especially @ midnight !!!

Fairly good service - not easy to find the actual car park but once there it was efficient enough The driver of the shuttle bus on the way to the airport really stressed and a bit grumpy . Biggest disappointment was when we discovered a scratch on the drivers door of our brand new car !!

Good value parking and good shuttle service to and from airport, but give yourself some extra time to find the yard if it's your first time as it's not the easiest to find and signage could be better.

Directions for Low Cost Parking

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi not sure what car I am going to be using can I change the car on the day,as mine is in the garage ,not sure if I will be ready for Friday If the vehicle details change from what you have booked then you can email or call us and we will update your booking
