What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

Another minibus is needed for the busy season. Too many people arriving at same time. When we returned from our holiday our car was nowhere to be seen.it took about 10 minutes to find it.this is not good enough.

Car parking cost was good. Park was easy to find. Slightly longer wait for a bus than I expected . This may have been because the date coincided with the royal Highland Agriculture Show. Waiting time to pick up time on the way back was good

The directions to the park were poor and seemed inaccurate. The driver was very stressed, drove very close to the cars in front ranting quite audibly that they were in his way. The driver even criticised other passengers for taking so long at getting on the bus to us. We are all customers and left me feeling that I had better behave or I might get the sharp end of his tongue. Professional drivers should not drive in the manner he did and should be aware of the impression he gives and that with most people going on holiday this kind of start to your day is not very positive.

Great car park, helpful and friendly staff. Car park is easily found with great directions once booked through web. Good pick up service once landed and car ready for collection, allowing easier access to head home quickly after any journey. Would definitely use bookFHR on all occasions, when booking transport car parking and fabulous pricing.

The booking form and all the relative subsequent correspondence was easy to follow, including the map details. The administration was excellent and the office administrators were both helpful and couteous. The parking and collection of my car was smooth and without any problems. The price was excellent and the parking area was in keeping with the description on the web site.

Directions for Low Cost Parking

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
