What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

This time it all went pretty well. The drivers were polite and drove sensibly and the check-in/out went pretty well. The only thing i would like to improve is the time waiting for the transfer bus (this time it was only a couple of minutes) and the time waiting for the same bus to leave (about 10min).

Hassle free transfer. Friendly staff. Would recommend ++ Only downside is the drop-off point which is quite some distance away from departures when you have luggage to carry. A huge improvement could be made by dropping off passengers closer to the door of the airport, like your previous arrangement. There is also the possibility of luggage getting wet in the rain with the present arrangement as not all the distance has shelter. Otherwise, very good service.

really quick transfer to the airport ,and when we returned the van was already there as soon as we got in we had the van to our selves he was away we thought Schumacher was driving within no time we where there car was sitting there from landing getting our cases and car we where on our way within 25 minutes could not believe it first class. would defiantly use again.

the car park was close to the airport possible a few more signs would help when your close to the car park transfer was quick no hanging around great only down side was car was covered in dust from lack of tar in the car park but good n cheap

All went well and the return service was speedy. Didn't realise that Park and Go were acting as agents for Low Cost parking so had to make a transition between car parks. Recommend they had a print-out of a map, as a Polish guy saying 'Left, right, left, left' was our total instructions. No destination name, nuffink! WE made it without a glitch but another (later?) passenger could have been in difficulty due to all the 'minor' lefts and rights to industrial units, which didn't count! Low Cost were very ggod.

Access to parking is confusing no sign board posted or direction but once u find them service is first class Sat nave can't find the parking Take u round and round need board on main road for directions

It was good experience (I was with Low cost parking). I was before time because i had made sure I knew the directions to the parking. It was quite relaxing then. The staff was very nice. Both and to and fro journeys were timely and hassle free. Price was great even though I had booked almost last minute.

Directions for Low Cost Parking

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
