Excellent, no fuss service. Great price for parking. Our original car park was closed for the period we were travelling, our booking was transferred to another park at no extra cost. Would definitely recommend using BookFHR.

Was upgraded free to carpark nearer the terminal however on return was caharged £270 for week stay. However cleared up quite quickly by the help line.

I would have given this 5 * but when I come up to the barrier, it did not issue a ticket through the ANPR system and I had to take a ticket. On contacting FHR I was not happy with the response as was told only an agent to contact plane parking. Sadly this might jeopardise future FHR use as I expected them to contact Plane Parking. However Melisa was very helpful as was the pick up driver. I’m unsure why the ANPR system never worked, but it’s the only thing that stopped Plane Parking from getting 5 stars as everything was good.

Couldn't fault it at all. Good sized spaces, bus arrived on time, dropped off on time. Friendly, helpful drivers. The return driver even got out his cab and helped me on with my luggage when he saw me in a wheelchair at the bus stop at the terminal and tried to drop us off near our car (there were no other passengers on the bus or waiting so no one else was inconvenienced). Couldn't ask for a better service. If there is a down side to this particular car park, it's that it's a wee walk to the terminal from the drop off point which isn't great if you have mobility issues or it's raining but for most that won't be a problem.

This is the 2nd time I have used this car park recently and I would certainly use it again . It is very close to the airport and easy to get to and leave from . The only complaint I would have is that the buses they used had no space for luggage and this was during the school holidays when they were busy . Where they were very good was when we got back we just missed a bus and we did not wait as long as expected for the next one . I suspect they knew they were busy and put on an extra bus .

I parked up no problem but we had flight issues as where we were suffered a bad storm. Our flight got delayed due to this and we arrived back a day later. We only had notification of this when we arrived for our flight home. I tried to email and phone but because was a weekend no one replied or answered. So when we eventually arrived home I had to pay £40 more.

Due to roadworks, I found it difficult to locate it and better signage would be desirable as the entrance to the park is very much at the back of the enormous parking area at Edinburgh airport. I at first thought that I was entering a no-go area for airport and construction workers but after driving on a bit further I located the park. Once I found the site it was easy, excellent pick up both to and from the park to the airport. I was a little bit apprehensive about departing the park, but the number plate recognition worked a treat and the barrier lifted automatically when I approached it.

difficult to find option to upgrade to long stay not taken as not clear how it worked parked at plane parking on exit ticket machine said due £389 pounds got sorted after speaking to someone in control room all very confusing

NEW LOCATION FROM JUNE 2022 - 10 MIN TRANSFER - BUSES EVERY 12 MINUTESPlease note: Postcode EH12 9DN is for the airport, please ensure you follow the below directions or use GPS coordinates 55.946071, -3.346477
Located at the Airport with great views of the East runway.
Catch the bus to the terminal. Buses run every 12 mins, and drops-off and picks up at East Terminus.
Coming from the A8 Glasgow Road, along Eastfield Road, follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport and at the roundabout at the Moxy / DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel turn right, and take the third exit
Go past the car rental centre and over the tram tracks
Once over the tram tracks, there is another roundabout. Take the third exit and continue along the road following signs for Plane Parking.
On arrival
Drive up to the barriers and the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system will read your vehicle registration number and automatically issue you with a ticket. The ticket will show your vehicle registration number, and this will correspond to the booking details we have for you on our system.
Once parked, please make your way to one of the two Plane Parking bus stops located within the car park.
The free shuttle bus arrives once every 12 minutes, with a short 10 minute journey to the terminal.
Customers who require PRM assistance should contact airport services, for assistance on arrival day.
Departure:
To exit the car park, drive up the barrier and insert your ticket. The system will check your details and the barrier will open. If there are any problems, press the intercom button to talk to our staff.
Make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
Please note - don't turn off early and park in NCP Scotpark as this is not an Edinburgh Airport car park and your booking won't be valid.
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 2 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 2 hour grace period on return. If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Edinburgh Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £40 per day or part thereof (subject to change)

If you know in advance of your return that you do need to park for longer than your pre-booked period, you can also book the additional days ad times on the web site. You must make sure you book for the same car park. On return press the buzzer and quote both booking reference numbers.
