What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in time *** The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus. You will be required to leave your keys with Reception. LWB - Long wheelbase vans that measure over 5.3m are charged double. Please note LWB's may not be accepted in the Summer months. Please check availability and pricing by email or phone. Motorbikes are accepted

As usual we were very happy with the way the whole operation functioned. The administration side was very slick. We returned on a Bank Holiday Friday evening so the traffic was heavy but the driver seemed to know the best route to take and got us back to our car as quickly as possible. Well done.

Everything as expected. Friendly service. Arrived 5 hours early before we should have before our flight, didn't get charged any extra they just took us straight the airport. On our return we waited about 20 minutes after we collected our luggage and called them. Came back to the car as we left it.

We were impressed with the competitive quote we got, the clear directions to the car park, the welcome we received when we arrived and the efficient transfer to the airport with a card to use for phoning the pick up when we returned. Altogether a pleasant experience and hopefully we shall use FHR when we next use Gatwick airport.

My wife and I have used Cophall for many years, well before the upgrading of the entrance and drive in. It had massive potholes in the latter when we first used it! Never had any issues with the system or the staff

Our outward bound journey better than return one as we were kept waiting at South Terminal [we'd come from North Terminal] and then departed without picking up any other people. Probably seemed worse as the baggage handlers were taking industrial action that day so we were delayed anyway.

Excellent service from Cophall again! The staff are very friendly. You get taken promptly to the airport without having to wait ages for loads of other people. We were picked up within minutes after our call and our car was parked within easy reach of where we were dropped off - (with a different company we had to walk miles down a potholey car park after being tired from travelling). All in all I would definitely recommend using Cophall and genuinely wouldn't consider using anyone else when travelling from Gatwick.

The booking process itself was relatively straightforward and the confirmation email promptly received. The parking site is easy to find and situated conveniently close to the airport via a short minibus ride. Pick up was prompt, which was better than other 'off airport' car parks I've used, that tend to leave you hanging about at a bus stop until they have a full load. Staff are punctual, courteous and helpful. My only gripe and consequently why I haven't awarded full marks was that on arrival, Cophall Parking didn't have any details of my booking from FHR, and consequently I had to go through the whole process again at reception. I did remember to take the email with me as proof so no major issues, but it did cause an unnecessary delay. Tip: take a copy of the booking with you!

Directions for Cophall Parking Gatwick

From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.

From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.


If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for RH10 3HZ - Please allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

Cophall Parking Gatwick - Bikes, Golf Clubs, Surf boards & Skis can be transferred upon request. Cophall Park & Ride also holds the Park Mark® Award for Safer Parking. At peak times your vehicle may be driven to and stored in our overflow car park by our fully insured drivers. Our overflow car park also carries the Park Mark® Award, is fully insured, has CCTV and less than 1 mile away.

Late Returns:
If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day’s parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change), (or part day thereof) after your booked return date.

Do you have far to walk to your car when you return? I will be on my own and wondering if I would have to walk miles to my car with cases at 6am after an all night flightYou will collect your car from the reception area on return, so no need to go looking for it in the car park
Is a Kia Sportage considered a standard size vehicle?Yes a Kia Sportage is classed as a regular  standard type vehicle as it fits into a normal car parking space
