What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in time *** The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus. You will be required to leave your keys with Reception. LWB - Long wheelbase vans that measure over 5.3m are charged double. Please note LWB's may not be accepted in the Summer months. Please check availability and pricing by email or phone. Motorbikes are accepted

As usual we had no problems however there did seem to be some misunderstanding at customer pick up from Gatwick, People were milling around not sure what to do and the drivers were shouting and calling out names, there was no regard for people (as myself) who unfortunately cannot hear, maybe need to explore a better means of meet and greet? especially when you have had a very long flight.

Overall I was happy with the service and facilities. However the drop off point at Gatwick north terminal could of been closer to the terminal entrance and on my return it was annoying to find two mini buses pull up at my stop only to be told I couldn't board them as they were proceeding to the south terminal!

Parking and journey out were as usual good however I had to make 2 phone calls and we waited over 30 minutes for pick up on our return and having seen 3 coaches from APH during that 30 minutes will make me reconsider in the future.

Booking, parking, pick up and documentation with FHR first class. My only comment appears general across Europe that some bookings accept an infant on an adult lap as no infant safety seat but nevertheless counts as a head. In Spain 4 adults and an infant necessitated 2 taxis which each apparently were licensed for 5 seats. Bizarre!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to park our car near the office. The service was personal. We appreciated particularly the way we were met and the patience of the driver in waiting for us as we had got slightly lost!

Simple to book and check in. However, there was a problem when they said you have to ring to let them know when you are back. I advised them I did not carry a mobile. They then said, not a problem, they track the flights. On our return, we waited and waited at the stated stops. In the end, I went off and searched for a public phone (something of a rarety) and then after contacting them, had quite a long wait before they turned up. When you have travelled all night this is not what you need.

Directions for Cophall Parking Gatwick

From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.

From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.


If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for RH10 3HZ - Please allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

Cophall Parking Gatwick - Bikes, Golf Clubs, Surf boards & Skis can be transferred upon request. The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus.

Cophall Park & Ride also holds the Park Mark® Award for Safer Parking. At peak times your vehicle may be driven to and stored in our overflow car park by our fully insured drivers. Our overflow car park also carries the Park Mark® Award, is fully insured, has CCTV and less than 1 mile away.

Late Returns:
If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day’s parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change), (or part day thereof) after your booked return date.

Do you have far to walk to your car when you return? I will be on my own and wondering if I would have to walk miles to my car with cases at 6am after an all night flightYou will collect your car from the reception area on return, so no need to go looking for it in the car park
Is a Kia Sportage considered a standard size vehicle?Yes a Kia Sportage is classed as a regular  standard type vehicle as it fits into a normal car parking space
I hv accdently deleted my email for parking on the 14may to 25may of May, my car reg is gv14 ppu, my name is Michele Dougan, please could u send me an email with all the details so I can print it, thank you, YOu need to contact Cophall as the booking has not been made with FHR
Is this booking amendable and refundable Cophall Parking Gateick is refundable - when it says Cophall Parking Saver that is non refundable
