What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in time *** The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus. You will be required to leave your keys with Reception. LWB - Long wheelbase vans that measure over 5.3m are charged double. Please note LWB's may not be accepted in the Summer months. Please check availability and pricing by email or phone. Motorbikes are accepted

The price for the week was excellent and transfer to the airport prompt. On this occasion and from past experience what lets the service down is the wait for pick up on return. We did as requested and only phoned after collecting our luggage then waited 10-15 minutes for pick-up at South Terminal only to find that the bus then had to go to North Terminal for a pick-up that wasn't actually there when we arrived. Also on this occasion we where delayed abroad because of bad weather and returned a day late. We did keep Cophall Parking informed but still faced a £6 'no show' charge on collecting the car. The charge for the week had only ben £23.92 so thought £6 excessive.

Had to make last minute changes to our booking i.e. change of flight and change of car. FHR handled these with a minimum of fuss! Transport to and from the airport was comfortable and swift - the engine of our car was even running with the heater blowing when we arrived back on a frosty morning. Excellent service.

Parking at Cophall Gatwick was a really good experience for us. The minibus transfers each way worked brilliantly, with no delays at all. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely use Cophall Parking again.

It was like private transfer, both ways my husband and I had to bus to ourselves and on the return the bus was already there waiting for us! We have parked here a few times and always get great service.

The location is fine, the car was looked after well. My only gripe was that we had to wait a while for a transfer to the airport and door to door it took 30 mins. Also we had quite a long wait on our return. But for the cost of the parking it was good value.

Directions for Cophall Parking Gatwick

From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.

From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.


If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for RH10 3HZ - Please allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

Cophall Parking Gatwick - Bikes, Golf Clubs, Surf boards & Skis can be transferred upon request. The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus.

Cophall Park & Ride also holds the Park Mark® Award for Safer Parking. At peak times your vehicle may be driven to and stored in our overflow car park by our fully insured drivers. Our overflow car park also carries the Park Mark® Award, is fully insured, has CCTV and less than 1 mile away.

Late Returns:
If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day’s parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change), (or part day thereof) after your booked return date.

Do you have far to walk to your car when you return? I will be on my own and wondering if I would have to walk miles to my car with cases at 6am after an all night flightYou will collect your car from the reception area on return, so no need to go looking for it in the car park
Is a Kia Sportage considered a standard size vehicle?Yes a Kia Sportage is classed as a regular  standard type vehicle as it fits into a normal car parking space
