Everything was as stated - arrived at about 3am and was able to park the car with no fuss. Where to park was explained to us on arrival. The only criticism I would have was that the shuttle bus to the airport was packed and so we could not get a seat or stow our luggage on it. On the return journey that was fine and we caught the bus quickly at the airport and we were able to get a seat and quickly pick the car up. The car was fine no damage and we were quickly out of the car park and on our way home.

Efficient reception on arrival. Directed to parking area. Shuttle bus provided good journey to airport. We liked the new scan procedure used by the driver on our return and driving out of the air park was straightforward. All in all, as smooth as clockwork and we’ll be using you again.

Buses are always running, seems every 15minutes to and from airport. Satnav will get you to Airpark. Staff at gate direct you to your zone, you park up and get the free bus to airport, it's straight forward, no issues.

The punctuality of the transfers was good. The roads on the car park are appalling particularly in wet conditions. Pot holes everywhere. Luton Airport in general is a disgrace. By far the worst UK airport I have used. Internet connection is poor and the toilets are abysmal. Ground staff non existent for 20 minutes after flight had landed. A woeful experience I shall not be repeating.

I liked the self-park of your car. It was quicker and easier than a check-in and then waiting to collect your keys when departing. Downside of course is if you lose your car keys on your holiday! Transfer to Luton airport was straightforward and the bus uses bar ‘R’ at the terminus which is adjacent to arrivals and departures. All in all, a good option.

Directions for Airparks Self Park
Need to know:Drive to the car park - directions and a postcode will be on your booking confirmation. Follow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
When you arrive, drive up to the barrier. It will automatically recognise your car reg and lift to let you in. Park in an available bay, keep your keys and make a note of where you've parked.
Then head to the nearest bus stop to catch the shuttle to the terminal. It's included in the price, takes around 14 minutes and runs regularly, 24 hours a day.
Arrival Procedures
Follow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is approx. 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
On Return
When you return, catch the bus back to Airparks Self Park. Find your car and drive to the exit. The barrier will recognise your car reg and lift, allowing you to exit.

Coming from the North (M1):
- Leave the M1 at junction 10.
- ÂAt the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081.
- ÂKeep in the left-hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂYou'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
- ÂAt the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂShortly after, turn right onto Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.
- ÂTurn left onto the B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate.
- ÂAt the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.

Coming from the South (M1):

- Continue on A5183 for approximately 2 miles and at the traffic lights turn right onto B4540 (Luton Road towards Luton).
- Continue on B4540 for approximately 1.5 miles into Slip End village and at the traffic lights turn left onto Grove Road.
- ÂTake the first left onto the service road.
- ÂFollow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
Accessibility
The shuttle bus is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible parking bays, which work on a first come, first served basis. Give Airparks a call before you arrive if you need any assistance. If you need help on site, use the intercom button at the barriers or ask the Airparks team.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
The shuttle bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to Airparks.
We recommend allowing 75 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the peak times (between 4am and 8am).
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly on + the number on your confirmation 6 to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.
