Quite a walk in the cold once we found a parking space, carrying 2 suitcases each was difficult up and down the curbs and a slight incline with a heart condition. No buses available. Callerton was a much better option for us but no longer available.

Car park could do with a bit of maintenance due to rough ground and a few pot holes. Spaces are very tight! Other than that, it does what it says in the booking info.

Really easy to find. Followed the instructions on the booking, took a ticket on arrival, parked up for 2 weeks. Came back to car, put ticket into machine at exit barrier and got out straight away. Can recommend for convenience!

Always an easy booking to make we use FHR regularly. On 2 occasions when we have put the ticket in the machine to get out of the parking it has come up with a charge but the attendant has always opened the barrier and let us out. I think it must be the ticket reader

Just thought some of the car parks are a canny trek to the airport …. Apparently there are buses but I never saw any ….. how about building multi story car packs ?

Whilst the parking at the airport was useful,it was quite a walk to departures,with me being unable to walk far,and on collecting my car and proceeding to the exit a message came up saying I owed over £275.after talking to someone on the helpline I was allowed to proceed through the barrier.Not really something I wanted to deal with after a long flight home.

Although the carpark was really busy there was an attendant who directed us over to an area that had spaces. Was only a ten minute walk to the terminal. (The bus was running but we chose to walk) . Have used the carpark many times now with no problems

I had accidently booked parking at Edinburgh airport, but when I realised we weren't actually flying from there, FHR were great at swapping my booking to Newcastle. Long Stay Parking in Newcastle was easy to find, easy to find an empty spot to park in, and courtesy bus came round very quickly.

Directions for Long Stay (PP)
The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696.Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north).
Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long stay car park.
Arriving at the car park:
Drive to the car park - driving directions and a postcode for your satnav will be on your booking confirmation. Take a ticket at the barrier, park in any space and keep your keys.
From there, it's a short walk to the term
On return
When you've got your bags, walk back to the car park. Drive to the barrier, put your ticket into the barrier and it will let you out. If you have any problems, press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of the team.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day. This is subject to change.
