Carpark close to airport terminal either catch shuttle bus or within easy walking distance. Improvement since pre covid in that part of the walk has a covered walkway.

I preferred the drop off and pick up at Callerton car park. However as this is now used as a covid test site I can understand why on site airport parking was used . As the weather was somewhat inclement the walk from the car park was very uncomfortable also the walk is uphill and with cases not good . Entrance in and out of the car park while in the car was well organised and easy . Hope you can get back into Callerton car park soon however if on site parking is the only option then I guess that’s what I’ll have .

Easy parking. Only problem was changed car before I traveled. E mail to change reg and got one back saying all done. On returning and putting car ticket in machine to get out was amazed to see I owed over £200 for parking. Spoke to the attendant who checked it all and said car had not be changed over but it was fine as he used my name

The bus between the car park to the terminal was not running so we had to walk carrying our luggage. This was bad enough on our departure but on our return it was snowing. My husband has cancer in his bones so had great difficulty and was in a lot of pain afterwards. If we had been informed of this before we travelled we would have cancelled. Also the exits from our zone were partially blocked by plastic barriers and cones

The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696.Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north).
Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long stay car park.

From there, it's a short walk to the term

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day. This is subject to change.
