The only problem we encounter is other passengers standing in the bus passage with their suitcases making it difficult to get off the bus at your stop

It was a good price for the time the car was in the car park. But on leaving the car park and entering our ticket we were advised the charge was £270 even though we had already paid for the parking in advance. This is the second time we have used the long stay car park and the second time we have been unable to get out of the gate and again no answer given as to why this happened.

Brilliant service except for bus driver pulled away from bus stop at terminal just as we got to bus stop ... seen us and shrugged his shoulders and drove off with plenty of seats available 😡 We waited a good 10 minutes or more for next bus to our car.

The Car Park is close to the airport entrance, and is clearly marked. Although it was busy the "Closed" signs mean it is easy to find the spaces. There are lots of bus stops so you are never far from them no matter where you are parked. On leaving the car a bus arrived within a few minutes, it is easy to lift cases onto the bus, I was at the terminal within 10 minutes of parking the car. On returning there was a bus waiting at the terminal.The path of the bus is in the order of the bus stops so it is easy to know when to leave the bus. Again I was leaving the arirport within 10 minutes of leaving the terminal. The registration number recognition on entry makes leaving so quick and easy.

Everything was great as it usually is until we went to barrier to exit! My ticket was not accepted and was asked to pay £111! Pressed help button and was asked various questions all of which were on my confirmation. He kept saying it was not coming up! A driver from a bus stopped and took my confirmation from me and told the help voice that it was all as started on confirmation. We got away but I was annoyed that we were held up through no fault of ours. I’m so grateful to the driver who spoke up for us.

Nothing to talk about - just went like clockwork. Arrived, parked, got on bus and transferred to departure ares. Arrived back, phoned bus, bus arrived, dropped off next to car and drove home - easy!!!

Great service, easily booked on line, gave clear travel to airport instructions plenty of room for parking and very close to the Airport. Bus collected us on both outward and inward journey, very easy way to park for your holiday, peace of mind too that your car is safe while you are away

All the practical aspects were fine, as I expected from previous experience with FHR. The only reason I have given an average star rating is that the discounted price through FHR was very poor on this occasion. Low price is the only real reason for using a booking agent, so unless that can be improved I will be using wider price comparisons in future.

The airport was secure which is great however My disabled father who is 77 had to walk to and from the terminal as no buses arrived after waiting 15 minutes or more and we called the office to make them aware we were waiting

It's an easy carpark to attend. But we had to walk back as there was problems with the buses getting out. Then when we went to put the pre paid card in and they wanted £111 so had to go to the office leaving others to queue behind us. This was very embarrassing. The guy in the office was very helpful and we got out

Directions for Long Stay (PP)
The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696.Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north).
Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long stay car park.
Arriving at the car park:
Drive to the car park - driving directions and a postcode for your satnav will be on your booking confirmation. Take a ticket at the barrier, park in any space and keep your keys.
From there, it's a short walk to the term
On return
When you've got your bags, walk back to the car park. Drive to the barrier, put your ticket into the barrier and it will let you out. If you have any problems, press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of the team.
There are extra-wide spaces for disabled customers in Zone N.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day. This is subject to change.
