Conveniently close to airport terminal, but no courtesy bus service running when we arrived so we had to walk. Fortunately it was dry so that shouldn't have been a problem. However we saw no signs to guide us to the terminal and there are roads, barriers and fences along the way so we had a bit of an obstacle course to navigate. If it had been wet or dark that would have ben quite unpleasant. On the positive side there were plenty spaces available and it was reasonably priced.

i was expecting a lot more to be honest. i thought the fact of having my car so close to the exit from the airport was about the best thing. when i booked and when i went to the airport and dropped the car off. i went into the reception area and gave over my booking reference number. i thought that this would have been enough information. but no. i was asked numerous questions about my flight the arrival time and so on.. i cant understand why this would be needed when i put this info in when i made the initial booking

I would highly recommend FHR for Airport Parking.I booked my Long stay via their website and found a very good price for my 9 nights stay. I just drove to Long Stay Carpark picked up the ticket as normal and when I returned I drove to the exit and put my ticket in the Exit machine and the barriers lifted to let me though!.

On leaving the airport the ticket was rejected and it said that we had to pay over a £100. Fortunately a man was there and managed to sort it for us but not the best of welcome homes! Not sure if I would book again .

Simple, straight forward booking process and a great price. No issues entering/leaving car park and a quick walk to the terminal. A bit more help from the ground staff in pointing out free spaces as car park is quite large and you could go round and round a few times before parking up but only an issue if you are pushed for time!

Not really a lot to say, we parked in the long stay park at Newcastle, arriving mid afternoon for a teatime flight. The parks were busy and eventually found a parking slot in block H. We had to walk to the terminal as we never saw a bus in the parking areas. On returning to Newcastle we walked back to the car and left without a problem

No car parking spaces immediately available with numerous cars parked on verges and unmarked parking areas. Took over 20 minutes of driving round and round before a van stopped and the driver said there were spaces available in another area where we eventually did park.

Directions for Long Stay (PP)
The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696.Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north).
Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long stay car park.

Drive to the car park - driving directions and a postcode for your satnav will be on your booking confirmation. Take a ticket at the barrier, park in any space and keep your keys.
From there, it's a short walk to the term
On return
When you've got your bags, walk back to the car park. Drive to the barrier, put your ticket into the barrier and it will let you out. If you have any problems, press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of the team.
There are extra-wide spaces for disabled customers in Zone N.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day. This is subject to change.
