A very efficient transfer both to and from the airport. We had a short wait for the minibus to arrive back from the airport before taking us there, but nothing of concern. Similarly a short wait on our return. It appears that a number of companies have been taken over and are operating as one. This caused a little confusion on our return but the drivers were all accommodating and took customers to the car park they had used. Minibuses also looked to have been upgraded.

Drop off was fine. Pick up not so good. Waited at least 10/15 mins. Van arrived and driver was ignorant grumpy and unhelpful - an older man.He left us standing and said he was fly/drive only. Another van arrived with a younger drive who was exact opposite friendly and chatty and efficient.

I've used Callerton quite a few times now over the last three years and the new improvements has made the whole experience a lot better than the original owners apart from the a few weeks ago when I was shal we say greeted if that's the right word By a very abrupt female that spoke to me as she was looking at her computer ! I asked her repeat everything as I couldn't understand what she was saying , if that was my first experience I certainly wouldn't be making anymore bookings

Minibus took us straight to airport and picked us up a few minutes after exiting airport. Car was waiting on us on arrival at car park. Excellent job and car was collected just as we had left it. Will use your service again.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
