Super service. I have read negative reviews on this but I love the way you hand your keys over at the kiosk and just clamber on a bus. On return the car is waiting and your car is back by the kiosk. I like this service as it saves you having to trundle cases in the rain/dark and on return have to find your car! The guy was very friendly and I would definitely recommend. Very close to the airport too and easy to find.

Seamless transaction, dropped car off & quickly shuttled to airport. Callerton tracked our delayed arrival & were there at pickup point as we arrived, car waiting perfect. Booking again for next time 5*

We have used Callerton Parking on many occasions and have always been delighted with the cheerful and friendly service and excellent price. Unfortunately the car park has changed ownership and is now operated by Newcastle Airport. The lovely friendly and cheerful staff have now gone and on our return from holiday we had to wait outside the airport in the cold for transport back to the car park whereas, previously we were able to phone for transport and wait in the terminal until it arrived. The personal service appears to have gone.On arrival to drop off our car the staff did not have access to computers and did not seem to know what they were doing. Disappointing.

Booking in on arrival very good. Picked up o.k. But office locked and unmanned and was left waiting in the rain for a few minutes until someone arrived to issue my keys. Not impressed!

4-15 am pick up was smooth & cheerfully executed. Return pick up prompt although driver a little pre-occupied because some soft ware wasn't functioning. 3rd reservation in 12 months

Having been with Callerton about 25 times this was our worst experience. We were stood waiting about 20mins with buses coming along taking 8 at a time, we were the lucky ones some had to wait 30-40 mins and a couple travelling together we're separated. Buses were marked up for different locations and we're going to 3 different drop offs. Not what I am used to doing.

Directions to the site were first class. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and informed us of exactly what would happen in terms of the transfer from callerton to the airport, and also on our return. We travelled with a small toddler and staff were extremely pleasant to her which was a very nice experience.

Car park was scruffy. We had to wait 20 mins for the bus to collect us from airport! A bus from the car park over the road came back 3 times but wouldn't take us, eventually one of there buses did collect us after having told us it was nothing to do with them!! Also my car had mud all over rear windscreen, it was washed when I dropped it off .... Wouldn't use them again very dissatisfied .

Have used this service at least twice a year for the past 5 yrs and has always been A1 service however ! small criticism has you have now been taken over the wait at the airport when we arrived back was a little to long about 25mins. Every time before it has been no more than 5mins. I would still recommend it as I'm sure this was only a hiccup.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
