There was clearly a lot going on and the staff seemed very busy but we waited no more than 5 minutes for lifts outbound and on return. The staff were very polite. It does literally just take a couple of minutes to travel to the airport from the parking area. Despite the busy-ness it was clearly highly organised. We would use this service again.

i took my car to callerton airport parking in perfect condition, when i collected the vehicle the engine management light was illuminated, the door mirrors had been pushed in rather than using the electric closing device, the windscreen wipers had the appearance that they had been changed for used ones. when contacting callerton they basically told me not their problems thats not something their drivers would do and that the car would have been moved several times in the 2 days that it had been with them. I will never use this company again if they cannot take responsibility for their actions

Although we have used this company before (even after being left stranded at the airport and unable to reach them by either telephone number on one occasion) we have always accepted that they were 'cheap and cheerful'.On this occasion however we were let down when arriving back in Newcastle just before midnight. We telephoned once through baggage and were told the mini-bus was on its way and would be there within minutes. However, on reaching the pick-up point, there were a number of other people already waiting there and when the bus arrived we - and others - were not able to get on it. It was exceptionally full. I asked the driver if there was another one on its way only to be told no, he was the only one on duty and we would have to wait until he returned from this run back to the parking company. Now, bearing in mind that the company has details of people's arrival times this delay - in the cold and rain, I might add - was wholly unacceptable. Yes, he was back within about ten minutes but it's the last thing you need at the and of a journey.In fairness this is not the driver's fault- both the outgoing and incoming drivers, along with reception staff - were friendly and helpful but the organisation was clearly lacking on this occasion. Taking this and the general poor quality of the reception area and actual minibus into account, in future I will pay more and hopefully get a better quality service.

couldnt really give full marks for security because i believe the car was moved to another site , which i was fully aware of them doing that but wasnt informed where car was going to.

The initial drop and leave was okay but it was at 5am, but on the return One mini bus, one driver bringing passengers in and over 20 of us to return, despite following the phone and advise of arrival it took three return trips, each one with new passengers being dropped off before myself and my family (six in total) were collected. where my vehicle was parked to load my luggage in was over the biggest pool surrounding the boot area with cars too close in front and behind to negotiate an exit.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park.
