Reasonable price and right next to the hotel. Reception scruffy and the older gent on reception is very direct does not make you feel very welcome. mini buses old and scruffy but the drivers all very friendly.

second time we have used callerton this year and on both times the interior of the car have been unacceptable .i know the car is parked in the open , but i feel more care should be taken to protect the interior , apart from that i will continue to use callerton as they provide a very good service

No bus available for our outward transfer, the driver had to take us in our own car! The new bus on the return transfer however was a vast improvement on the old wreck previously used.

Transfer coach was extremely dirty inside and smelt of smoke. The door to get out (should an accident occur) could only be opened from the outside by the driver according to the written instruction on the window.

As I've already reviewed, decent price. quick service,airport 3min. transfer, pleasant helpful drivers,not long wait for return pick-up,car waiting at gate, thoroughly recommended. We always use Callerton when flying from Newcastle.

Cannot fault outward journey but coming back was a nightmare. I phoned the 0191number to get a message saying unable to connect you please try later, the same message with the 0800 number after being told it would cost from a mobile. after trying to phone a couple of more times my friend tried. I then used the phone in the airport getting the same message. we went to the pick up point in case someone was waiting and tried to ring once more, same message. At 0150 I got a taxi to the car park with my friend leaving the other two friends in our party with the luggage. It cost me £4.60,the taxi driver said this was a frequent occurence for him when people could not get through. When we arrived at the office, as I went through the door this man was just coming into reception from the back.As you can imagine we were not very happy more so when he said we must have phoned the wrong number. My friend rang from her phone and his rang which to him proved there was nothing wrong with his phone.He couldn't accept that this was the number we had used all along and also we had tried the 0800 number to which he replied we would never get through to the 0800 number on a mobile, when I told him I had tried the airport phone he said they never worked they were always broken. He then received a couple of calls from the airport from people who had just landed which proved to him we were the problem.We went back to the airport with him to pick up our friends and luggage only to be told that another woman had tried to ring a couple of times only to be given the same message as us.He said his last pick up had been around 2330/2345.Surely he knew his next pick up was only about half an hour later.I have no problem him having a break,but knowing he had another pick up within half an hour he would have been ready for us.We were tired and very cold, and it was not expected to have to hang around all that time then end up having to pay for a taxi. only negative is when we picked up our car it was filthy think it might of been parked on roadside with lots of cars passing it looked like it had been in a rally one one side, positive side it is quite near the airport and the transfers were very quick.

Whilst the service is cheap it could do with a tidy up. Everything is a bit tatty with the transfer bus handles held on with parcel tape. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for!

Cannot fault at all. Collected us within five mins of getting through the terminal. Prompt, efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. Car was ready when picked it up and was wished a safe journey home to Leeds. Excellent

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
