Sadly we were again disappointed that on our return to Bell Air, it took a while to find the car. Surely people expected back should be shown where the car is, or move the car nearer to the office.

As usual the service was just great. Did not know that both Callerton and Bellair were now part of Newcastle Airport as such but this was no problem. We simply left the car as usual and were whisked to the Airport by Minibus, the whole process being completed in approximately 20/25 minutes. Great!! Return pick up went like clockwork also.

Everything was fine until we returned to Newcastle airport and the Bellair/Callerton bus collection point was utter chaos with the few buses that turned up seemed to only want to take Park & Fly customers and were even taking people from the back of the queue because that was were the driver decided to stop. Eventually a Park & Fly bus took us to Callerton. Even some of the drivers seemed very stressed and hence were not very pleasant in their communications with waiting customers. We had previously told that the bus pick up at the airport terminal was covered by CCTV to alert waiting clients, but information about waiting clients was being relayed by radio. On getting to the Callerton site, I have to say my car was ready and waiting. Very confused whether Bellair /Callerton and Park & Fly are the same company and if so then why have two separate bus pick ups at the airport terminal. Having used Callerton parking for a good number of years I am seriously considering using another provider. Very disappointed customer

Found the car park easily thanks to comprehensive directions received on confirmation e mail. Quickly transported to airport and picked up right away on return. Car waiting outside reception and quickly away home. Very professional and courteous service all along.

After using this car park facility at Callerton/Belair near to Newcastle Airport many times over the years I was disappointed when I arrived late afternoon on Monday 25th September 2017 to collect my car only to find that (a) my car was left unlocked, the response by the attendant was that it would have only been like that since early morning when the car was moved!! It only takes a professional thief seconds to steal an unlocked car, not hours!! (b) a large black, greasy boot smudge mark in the tan coloured drivers carpet. Obviously no paper carpet protection had been used - it could have been worse if the same lack of care had been taken with the ivory leather upholstery and had greasy marks from dirty overalls due to no plastic seat protection being used by the driver!! Considering what the paper carpet and seat protection costs, I think it should be essential that the attendant/driver use these as a matter of course to avoid any costly complaints for the replacement of such items!! I will be displaying this review on my own social media pages to warn other drivers and to consider other options if necessary.

Great service no issues other than the ignorant people who jumped on the courtesy bus before us who was in the front of the queue and they filled the bus with their luggage and took the seats and we were left to wait for the next bus and I am six months pregnant!!!! Great eh? Well mannered and considerate !

Booking and leaving our car at Callerton parking was fine. A bus was there almost immediately and dropped us off with no problems at all. On our return,however, things did not go so well. There were at least 12 people waiting at the bus stop for at least 10 minutes and then one bus turned up. The driver looked harassed, said that there was only one driver on and that he finished work at 5 o'clock( it was then 4:50pm). After another wait, a Park and Fly bus turned up and was kind enough to take us to Callerton Parking. I don't think this was the kind of service we paid for.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking
Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.
EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.
On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park.
