Good service on outward journey. However, on return service was poor. Arrived at Newcastle airport from Malta at about 4.30pm. After retrieving baggage waited at least 20 minutes at Callerton stand before mini bus picked us up. There was only one small bus going back and forth. As a result caught up in rush hour traffic.

we arrived early for departure and guy was fine about it, reminded me about where i would put my ticket for return and pick up car...on returning home 1st buss filled up very quickly, but a 2nd bus turned almost immediately so no waiting around, asked about our hols how far we had to drive, being polite and friendly... so will def be using you again for my nexy holiday.

Rather cold stood waiting for transport back to my car. I was not informed that all we needed to was stand in the allocated bus stop, spent ages wondering around car park where other mini busses were collecting people. Then called Callerton office to be told lift will be a few minutes but still no idea where to stand and wait. Another call to office after a good wait to be rudely informed bus was waiting at allocated stop for us. Got directions to said stop to see that the transport was just pulling into the airport. 40 mins in very cold, damp weather not what you want on return from holiday.

Both arrival and departure were handled quickly and efficiently. We felt our car had been kept very safe with no damage or any other problems. One observation we think worth mentioning is that the mini-buses have very high steps and are really difficult to access. As a lady 5 feet tall and 80 years of age I found it challenging to say the least. However, overall the speed and efficiency of your service is excellent.

Great service as usual but disappointed to find that the bus service is now combined with Park and Ride. Previously it was a dedicated bus service for Callerton only, now Callerton is the second stop, therefore increasing the transfer time.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking
Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.
EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.
On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park.
