Good drop off point. Only minutes to airport drop off. The only concern was that our pickup after returning from holiday, I could not get contact with them by phone and had to wait about 15 min for collection. Apart from that we have used this company over the years and with no problems.

Overall a good experience, easy to book,easy place to find and check on was quick and efficient. HOWEVER the driver who took us to the airport was rude, never spoke to us despite attempting to make general conversation. He drove like a bat out of hell, accelerating quickly then having to slam on brakes instead of slowing gradually. It was a most unpleasant journey. When we arrived he neither made eye contact or acknowledged us when we said thank you. Our return journey was a much better experience a lovely pleasant driver who was cheerful and very helpful. I seriously considered that I wouldn't use Callerton again based on the driver who took us. However the overall experience was positive. I hope you can share this with the driver as his whole attitude did impact on our experience and that of the reputation of the business. Clearly he doesn't like his job.

Waited half an hour for bus when we arrived back man wasn't very pleasant in the phone when we phoned to see where they were , then l said my house key was missing oh it might be in your car ! Not very happy with service at all

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
