We are regular users of this service at least twice a year. We have used this service since it was a small Independent l company prior to being taken over by fhr. We will not be using it again. The last time we had to wait an inordinate amount of time to be picked up and the driver scraped someone's car when driving into the yard. This time once again we waited for 3/4 hour at the designated "long" bus shelter and in the end a driver from a different firm took pity on us and dropped us off at callerton. My husband and I are bothpensioners, my husband h as a heart condition and I have mobility problems. To be left in the early hours in the cold weather is not a pleasant experience. When we reached the yard, the surly attendant addressed one word to us "ticket?". There was no other sign of activity in the yard. A thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Only one bus available on return to Newcastle, had to wait almost half an hour to be picked up for Callerton, as an elderly couple on departure had left something in their car and had to go back to Bellair, not on really,

Use this place several times a year. Staff are always friendly and helpful. You park next to reception and wait no more than 5 minutes for a mini bus to take you the two minute drive to the airport. The return leg is also very prompt and efficient

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
