We were under the impression we would be picked up within minutes but we had to wait about 20 or so minutes as the bus would pick people up then come back and pick more up and that happened a few times.it was early hours and very cold stood with my disabled Ill mother and two toddlers..

everyone friendly enough just a few minutes transfer time . on the way back a little bit of a wait as there was about 30 people needed transferred to 2 different car parks and the buses only carried 8 people at a time got on 3rd bus only waited 15 minutes approx but I thought I had to knock 1 star off for that anyway .

We arrived around 30 mins before our check in time and there was a note on the door saying back in 10mins, the person returned about 20mins later but we had to wait another 10 for the bus. Luckily the people who arrived before us let us go first. We just made our check inn time. Also when we arrived back we waited around 30 mins for our pick up.

Going to airport was fab your staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly but arriving back at airport the driver who collected us was very rude and unhelpful and very unprofessional talking rudely about us to other customers infront of us.

No problems with transfer from Callerton to the airport. The return transfer was a disaster - was kept waiting for nearly 25 minutes in the bus shelter waiting for the mini-bus, despite ringing as soon as I was out of the airport and being told that the bus would be there in 'a couple of minutes'. Have used Callerton for many years but the service has been going steadily downhill since the transfer system was changed last year. It is now far less efficient. I will no longer use Callerton and will look for alternative parking in future.

I have used Callerton parking for several years now but I thought this time it was different. It was not clear what one had to do when at the exit with luggage ready for pick-up. There was no information to say that the pick-up buses were for other car parks as well as Callerton. The card given when leaving the car should have said what number to ring

Very professional booking in apart from our details not being on the computer so everything had to be input again. Very pleasant and polite staff. We always use Callerton usually 3 times a year and have never had a problem.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
