Have used this Car Parking before and again have no complaints about the arrangements. On arrival, the handover was smooth and the transport to the airport was immediately available. On return, our pick up was prompt and car available for collection.

Everything was fine until our return. We had been told that we did not have to call to be picked up, simply return to the drop-off point, flight arrivals were monitored and there was CCTV coverage. We stood at 10.30 p.m. for about 30 minutes with the temperature close to zero until the driver from another parking company, on his third trip around, agreed to take us to the car park after dropping off his own customers. At our parking place the service bus was evident but the driver was nowhere to be seen. In reception I complained and asked what had happened to the driver and collection service but the youth behind the desk simply said he didn't know, and obviously didn't care, he didn't offer to take details but simply handed over my key and went away. So my opinion of customer service is poor and of customer relations even worse.

Service was excellent. Dropped us at airport hotel the night before our early flight. They were there waiting for us when we arrived back. Can't ask for anything better than that. We use this company twice a year and so far no problems. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Excellent service, no worries, just go online make reservation, arrive and FHR do the rest. No cases to carry, they do it all, take you to airport and are there when you arrive back. Would not hesitate in recommending FHR, we will definitely always use them when we go on holiday.

After booking with FHR I was transferred to Belair parking which is only yards from the FHR site. The transfer bus was rather rickety but did the job. On our return we had a 10 min wait in very cold conditions for the bus to belair parking.My car was waiting undamaged and I had only a minutes wait for my keys.I was informed the reason for the change of site was that FHR was undergoing repairs I was told in good time.

I accidentally left my phone in the car and rang them to ask if they would secure it and they said they would switch it off and secure it in vehicle. This made me feel more relaxed while away on holiday and I would recommend them to anyone. I will be continuing to using them for all future Holidays

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
