We have used Callerton Parking for a long time with no problem. Unfortunately on this occasion we waited quite a while outside Newcastle Airport for the shuttle bus to arrive outside in the cold weather

We have used Callerton parking on many occasions with no problems whatsoever. However, on our return this holiday, we had to wait quite a while for a mini bus to take us to our car due to too many people waiting. Also needed to drop people off at Park and Fly before being taken to Callerton which encountered us getting off the mini bus to let other passengers out. The rain didnt help. Not needed after flight home. Consideration definitely needs to be given for separate mini buses for the different Car Parks.

Overall, once again it was a good experience but, I think some clarity needs to be given to staff, drivers and customers of how the bus system works now..is it Park & Fly bus or Callerton or do the buses take passengers to all your Parks?

faultless experience, when we landed back in newcastle it was cold and frosty - the staff at the car park had the engine running and the car nicely warmed up for us when we arrived back at the compound. brilliant service all round and would not hesitate in using again - if i did have one little issue, it was a bit tricky to find

Dropping the car off and a lift to airport where really good. Getting picked up was really poor as had to wait for the little van to make two trips before he could take the rest off the passengers. I suggest getting a bigger bus or put another van on, as we had to wait 20 mins in the freezing cold

used callerton many times without a hitch .this time outward journey fine but on return waited good ten plus minutes in cold and wet conditions and vehicle that arrived was not big enough to get all passengers at once . to be fair had only a few more minutes to wait for another vehicle but overall new regime not as good as old,might look elswhere next time.

Excellent service. Very easy drop off and short wait for shuttle bus. Return was just as good. Only waited a few minutes for the bus and our car was waiting for us at the car park. Really good value too. Thanks.

Easy & effortless car drop off/collect procedure, quick transfer to/from airport to car parking. After our last trip using bus/metro (a nightmare) this was a breeze and few pound extra we paid for parking at airport instead was worth every penny. Booked though Topcashback so even get money back on booking, already booked for next 2 trips.

How to make a good service into a great service- 1) Don't pile bags on to of each other- I only take the one bag on board the aircraft as hand luggage but this contains my laptop so I don't expect other passengers luggage to to piled onto of it without regard to its contents. 2)When the drivers move a seat forwards- put it back where it was

Drop off was good however we were told to wait in bus stop on rtn n camera would see us n driver would arrive. We waited n then had to phone for driver. All told we had to wait 30 mins

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. However if you wish to forward details to customerservices@bookfhr.com we will
can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
