What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive to our car park and catch our transfer bus to the terminal. On your return you will be collected and returned to our car park 1.5 miles from the terminal. You will be required to leave your keys. Cars maybe moved between our 3 car parks.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Return instructions will be provided to you at the car park office when you check in. Our meet point is Zone C on the terminal forecourt which is on the same level as departures and arrivals outside the terminal doors

What security measures does the car park have?

We have 24 hour security including security fencing and gates and lighting and Park Mark.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

No height restriction You are required to leave your keys and your car may be moved and stored in one of our Park Mark car parks, all located within the airport boundary.

The outgoing service was very good with a prompt transfer, however on our return at 11.45PM we called as advised after baggage reclaim and customs and were informed where to wait and transport would arrive in 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes standing in the rain a small minibus arrived but was not picking up. After a further ten minutes another bus arrived and with confusion picked up eight passengers, by this stage approximately 12 more people had arrived at the pick up point, after a further 15 minutes a bus arrived and we were eventually collected. During the return journey the driver was having to take phone calls from passengers who had arrived at the airport requesting collection, this felt very inappropriate for the driver to be so stretched. It took in excess of one hour for us to collect our car a journey of less than two miles from the airport.

Our booking was made without any problem and the guy who greeted us at the office to take our car in was a cheerful and helpful. However the woman who collected us from the airport (1.00 am on 26.4.15) to take us back to our car was awful, aggressive, rude and curt which was not what we needed after a flight and long delay getting out of the airport thru Passport Control. We would use FHR again as they are always very professional but would suggest someone speaks to the woman at I Love Park & Ride at Stansted who collected us!

Extremely easy and clear instructions, car park so close to airport. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours coming home but this wasn't a problem. Lovely staff on way there - slightly gruff lady who picked us up who insisted on only allowing those that called first into the car. Consequently a queue formed in the rain and those that were quick to call for pick up had to wait a good 20 mins in the car for the couple who called 'second'. Not the best system really but very tight on security.

Service was good although could benefit by tarmacing the car park as your car gets dirty. If I would have known that we had to leave keys for them to keep moving the car I probably would not have used this car park, but everything was ok in the end

I Love Park and ride is located within the airport boundary at Stansted, just over a mile from the terminal. On demand transfers to and from the terminal, ensuring a quick and convenient way to park at Stansted. This service is available 24/7.

Outbound instructions:
Follow signs from the motorway towards the mid-stay car park, using post code CM24 1PY in your Sat Nav. I Love Park and Ride is located on the opposite side of the roundabout to the airport's Mid Stay car park opposite MacDonalds, adjacent to Holiday Inn and before the BP garage. Turn in to the Holiday Inn entrance and then immediately on the right hand side is the entrance to our car park. Please park in a customer parking space on the right hand side. Please go to Reception to check- in, before unloading your bags. The car park address is I Love Park and Ride, Southgate, Stansted Airport, CM24 1PY. Park and ride contact number the number on your confirmation (option1) to contact the drivers should you need help with directions, emergency number the number on your confirmation .


Return instructions
Please ensure you collect all your luggage and clear customs before calling the number on your confirmation (option1) to be collected. Make your way to the forecourt, just outside the terminal doors and wait in Zone C by the flag poles. Please remain on the same level as departures. We are unable to wait for more than 5 minutes so it is therefore essential you are ready to be collected otherwise you may be liable for any excess fees we incur.
