Even with the snow the free bus from the terminal to the parking area operated on time at 1 in the morning. Pre-booking was easy as I could drive in and out.

Pre booked so the ANPR system used I got in ok but the system failed on exit attempted to call assistance had long wait attempted again was then spoken to as if I was to blame

Poor service, waited for ages before bus arrived, and there were people behind us in queue who could not get on , as it bus quickly filled up. Bus then did not initially work. Once on our way back to carpark the buzzer kept misfiring. It was hard to hear bus stops being called out by the bus driver. would expect a display sign within the bus. When we did get to our stop H bust 10, the street lighting was not working and we made our way to find our car in darkness. It was a dreadful first reception to the UK

We kept out car in the stanstead long stay car park which was okay finding. Easy to understand to get to your allocated zone parking. My issue was the way back from the airport. Long stay and jet carpark is used by the same transfer bus to get passengers to and from the airport. The bus driver does not go in chronological order of zones A,B,C,D,E etc... instead he chooses to go from A-C to J,K, to then go into jet car parks do all that then come back to Zones E,F etc. It was frustrating because you think Yes your next off to be kept on the bus for an additional 20 mins. We got onto the transfer at 11.40 and didn'tget to our car till around 12.20. I won't be booking this car park again simply because jet parks is cheaper and its completely the same. No difference in the 2 so why pay more?

Easy to find and not too expensive for a 5 day stay. Everything went like clockwork and couldn’t be happier! Instructions very clear so no confusion on what to do when I returned to the car.

On arrival, parking up and getting the bus to the airport was all fine. The return however was horrendous. Our flight came in at midnight, and when leaving the airport we were met with a huge disorganised queue. The railings to organise the queue did not stretch long enough, so beyond was a disorganised mess. Allowing those that wanted to, to skip the queue. 3 mid stay buses came and went, without any long stay buses. When it arrived, people piled on. We were lucky to make it on as the last people on the bus, but it was so cramped. I feel for those who had to wait in the cold for the next bus, or even possibly the next one after that. It was a stressful experience and we won't be using this car park again.

Easy to locate and to access. Shuttle bus to terminal took 10 mins. When returning, the shuttle bus broke down but a replacement turned up within 5 minutes.

all good apart from rather chaotic on return - majority of passengers were confused about bus stops/zones (one couple with an infant missed their stop completely) and too many people for one bus. At most stops at least half a dozen people had to get off with their luggage in order to make space for those wanting to get off and then get back on again - no-one wants this hassle at the end of their holiday they just want to get home as soon as possible

Easy process. FHR is good. Only gripe is the pricing in my case was away in Long Term Parking for just 2 days and it cost me as much as for a week. Not part of FHR I think, just Stansted parking :-(

cant believe how many people leave their brains at home when going on holiday. Got on the transfer bus with 3 full sized cases very heavy, had to ask some numpty to get out of the doorway so that we could get on the bus, then had to lift the cases onto top shelf of storage as the bottom and middle shelves were full with hand luggage bags? Again on our return the same thing hand luggage bags in bottom 2 storage shelves. Is it just me or are people really that selfless that they do not think of others! Perhaps the bus company need to put signs up politely asking travellers to think! about others IE: if its not too hard for you please could you stick your nice little light weight bags in the top or middle storage compartments and let the oversized/extremely heavy cases be placed in the ground floor bag storage area???

great service, but because the bus's only run every 15 minutes they were very busy and although there were plenty of spaces for cases there were few seats and people were standing in the doorways so it was not easy to get on and off.

The parking was adequate, but transportation to the airport was an abomination. The shuttle bus continued to ignore our stop, with roughly 100 people visibly waiting. Instead, the bus would fill up one stop earlier and drive past with a "Sorry Full" notice. Ultimately, many people at our stop stood in the street with linked arms to force the bus to stop and demand another bus be sent to our location. I had 1 hour and 45 minutes to my flight, and only barely made it in time; after 45 minutes (3 busses!) I gave up on the parking bus and ran to the nearby Hilton and paid for their shuttle. There was a "Parking" employee at our stop who yelled at people who asked for help, insisting that the parking lot had nothing to do with the shuttle bus. The gate for pre-booking did not work, the exit lanes were mis-marked (signs don't match the writing on the lanes) and I did not encounter a single employee who seemed to care about the customers.

Booked this under the belief that the transfer time was 4-5 mins. Awful 15 min bus journey from terminal and the buses are every 15 mins. Parked our car 2 hours before our flight and had ro run to catch our flight as gate was closing in 2 mins. Nightmare parking .....nightmare airport.

On the return journey we landed at 11.45pm. There were about 4 more flight that landed more or less the same time. The queue for the bus was ridiculous, and we waited about 25 minutes for a bus and due to the volume of people we all did not get on

I had used Book FHR few times, never had any problems. I don't know what happened this time, but we had a lot of problems with parking. The confirmation stated the 5 digit reference number for "Long Stay" car park at Stanstead. However, when got to the car park this number has not been recognised, as it did not show on their system, neither the CCTV recognition as stated on the booking confirmation did not work. We have been told that our booking is for the near by Hilton Hotel, went there, but the hotel turned us back to long stay car park. We have lost around 1 hr just to get to the car park, even with allowing plenty of time to travel for 6 am flight, it has been really stressful experience. Tried to ring number on the booking confirmation, but office was closed, so had no option to straighten this up. On the way back, spent around 10 minutes at the barrier, as yet again the number wasn't coming up on their system. I don't know if I book again with you guys.

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Directions from London
Exit the M11 at Junction 8a and follow the directions below:
Take the left hand lane and follow the filter left.
At Priory Wood Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Round Coppice Road, you will pass the Novotel hotel on your left.
At the next roundabout take the first exit into the Long Stay car park.

Directions from Cambridge
Exit the M11 at Junction 8 and follow the directions below:
Take the A120 exit to Stansted Airport.
At Priory Wood Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Round Coppice Road. At the next roundabout take the first exit, you will pass the Novotel hotel on your left.
At the next roundabout take the first exit into the Long Stay car park.

To Enter:
Follow signs to our Long Stay car park. This car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR) so the barrier should rise for you upon arrival. If not please press the call button for assistance. DO NOT insert your Credit Card, you may be charged again.
Once you have parked your vehicle in an open zone, board a courtesy bus which will drop you in front of the terminal building. Please ensure that the bus you board is going to the correct zone.

To Exit:
When you arrive back from your trip, follow in-terminal signs for 'Buses to Long Stay and JetParks car parks'. Courtesy buses are located at the Long Stay and JetParks bus stops in front of the terminal. Please tell the driver where you have parked (i.e. Long Stay, Zone E, Bus stop 3).
Once you've returned to your vehicle, drive up to the exit barrier. Either the barrier will raise or if you were issued with a ticket, insert your ticket. If you have pre-booked DO NOT insert Credit Card at the barrier as you may be charged again. The barrier will open for you to exit. If you experience any difficulties, please press the call button for assistance.

Blue Badge Bays are located in Zone Q.
Long Stay height restriction 3.5 m or 11' 6"
High vehicles, oversized vehicles and vehicles with trailers should use Zone Q.
When you arrive, the machine should take no more than about 15 seconds to recognise your number plate and give you a ticket. If this doesn't happen or you have any problems, just press the help button. Don't insert a credit or debit card or you may be charged again for your parking.


At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Stansted Airport's standard tariff - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
