We would not wish to use the Copthorne Hotel again. Once checked in to reach our room it was such a long walk this would certainly not be suitable for an elderly person or anybody with walking problems. Prices for drinks and food are excessive. There also seemed to be a problem with the phones or the operators, not sure which, but receiving calls seemed to be a problem. We asked for a wake up call but the phone didn't seem to ring in the rooom. We had our name included in the coach service to the airport, or so we thought, but in the morning a taxi took us. We waited more than 30 mins for the taxi to pick us up from the airport on our return, we were told it would be between 3 and 10 mins, after 4 phone calls they eventually arrived. Overall not a good experience.

We parked the car and stayed the night on our return, we found the reception staff to be very efficient and polite. The room was of good standard and bed comfortable. Will more than likely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel. Excellent ambience. Restaurants looked nice although didn't use. Rooms lovely but can be down some really long corridors . There was some noise experienced from other guests arriving or leaving but not too bad.

The Copthorne (Gatwick) Hotel overall is very good, the staff were polite & friendly and the room was spacious & comfortable. Unfortunately the bar food wasn't too good, we ordered fish & chips, only to be told they had no chips ~ but suggested a salad in place of the chips!! We then discovered they had 'French Fries' just not chips. On our return the 10:30 Hotel Bus (G5) didn't turn up, we waited 50 mins before resorting to a taxi.

Having read poor reviews on Tripadvisor and having paid such a competitive price we were a bit apprehensive about Copthorne. No need. The place was excellent, and parking and collection absolutely fine despite the fact we were delayed for 24 hours. Your price was fantastic for what we received. Reception desk was kept busy by an all too obvious appreciation of this hotels services set approx.15mins drive away from Gatwick airport. In all areas I have to recommend this relaxing oasis from securing my parked car through to my return to the UK and setting me on my way again after a thoroughly beneficial good nights sleep. The hotel is definitely 4 Stars as listed and seems to try to go that bit more by its staff regime of complementing that standard.

We were very impressed with the whole service; the hotel was excellent, except that we did not get our requested early morning call, which could, of course, have been disastrous! We were a little concerned that the shuttle service was only every hour, but this worked well for us, and we were assured that, once we had booked the night before, the bus/taxi would not go without us.

excellent hotel ,the saver was superb value for accommodation and car parking . We also enjoyed an evening meal in one of the hotels restaurants. Transfer to airport was fine BUT only goes/returns once each hour which might not suit all customers

Pre-Authorisation Policy
A pre-authorisation of up to £50.00 is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable 7-10 days after check-out provided no additional charges have been incurred.

Coming off at Junction 10 from the M23, follow the signpost to the A264 for East Grinstead. At the first roundabout head straight over, you will then shortly arrive at another roundabout.
At the Copthorne roundabout take the 4th exit, just passed the turning for the Copthorne Hotel sign posted for Three Bridges on the A2220.
Proceed down Copthorne Road, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the Balcombe Road, continue down this road past the Hillside Inn pub on your left.
Approaching a mini roundabout, take the first exit onto Turners Hill Road.
Travel along Turners Hill Road, after the Flyover take the first left into the Hotel which is situated 100yards on the first exit on the right hand side.
From the Copthorne Roundabout the hotel has brown signposts along the route.

Parking is on site at hotel, youll need to give your keys to the hotel in case your car needs to be moved into the long stay area of the car-park whilst youre away.
Overnight Parking will be chargeable at £10 if you have not booked an on site parking package.
When arriving at the hotel, kindly be aware that there are two car-parks, one for Nuffield Health and one for the Holiday Inn. Please ensure you park in the Holiday Inns car-park (situated to the right as you drive in) to avoid a parking fine.
