Very nice quiet stay. We have stayed at other hotels nearer the airport and found them very noisy making sleep difficult. Parking system very easy, special deal with taxi company making transfers cheap and easy. Only niggle was no-one on any extension would answer a phone but very apologetic and soon rectified.

Nice hotel will use again. We once had an update to a suite the review then would have been excellent all the way. But really, we will always use FHR for our bookings.

Just a couple of things let this hotel down, it could be fantastic. Food was mediocre back in Feb, havnt eaten there since though. Decor needs updating. Upon our return from our holiday this morning I went into reception to collect our car, someone is numbering the key receipts wrong and it took about half an hour to find ours, when our key was located we found our car had been parked under a tree for two weeks, not where I left it. It was covered in so much mess I couldnt open the car window to go through the hotel exit barrier and again at the M25 toll booth I had to get out of the car to pay. Not good customer service.

Have sent review already. Our car had a new small dent in the back on our return and the hotel dealt with it very well with no probs and have refunded the £72 we paid to have it remedied. Very happy with their response to the problem and would definitely use the hotel again.

V convenient for Gatwick - and excellent value - but NO LIFT!!!!! For an "airport hotel" this is something that needs to be made explicit..... as everyone has luggage

The family room was fantastic. However, after arriving at 2am to be told the cot was in the room when it wasn't was a bit frustrating. Me and my 11 month old daughter ended up sleeping in the double bed and my husband in the single bed! The next morning the electricity cut out 3 times. When I told the lady at reception she said 'yes' matter of factly. So I asked if it was normal and she replied, no we're just having problems today. No apology or empathy. Terrible customer relations and service! My parents also stayed and had to wait 30 mins for their room to be cleaned at 2am! The hotel is beautiful and the room was amazing. The staff and operation majorly let it down.

In addition to the review I submitted yesterday while away, we have now returned from holiday to find a dent in the rear of the car and scraped bumper which wasnt there when we left it. Reported to the man on reception who took pictures, so not as happy as in first review!!!

Very good value for money, main areas of hotel attractive with nice grounds. Room was somewhat tired looking and in need of redecoration, but clean and fine for overnight stay.

The hotel and staff were great, a lovely comfortable quiet hotel. I would not use the airport transfers again as they are not frequent enough and took almost an hour to get back to the hotel where my car was. I would definately book this hotel again but would use a taxi for the transfers

The hotel is very clean,very friendly staff, rooms are spacious with tv, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities,some complementary toileteries and plenty of towels. Parking can be an issue if the hotel is really busy and you may have to park on the verges around the grounds. Airport transfer bus costs £4.50 per person and is not very reliable, you are best ordering a taxi which only cost £10 and takes approxmately 10 minutes. Overall I would rate this hotel and its facilities 9 out of 10 and would recommend to other travellers.

Would never use this hotel again dont know where they keep the cars but mine and others by it (in the pick up point) was completely covered in bird droppings so much I am having to have my bonnet resprayed.

No transport available back to the hotel for a period of 2 hours meaning I had to pay for a taxi. The schedule for the morinig transport to the airprot was wrong and had to wait one hour for the bus. Overall dissatiafied with the service and found some of the hotel staff unhelpful.

reasonable price and adequate to use as stop over and holiday parking. Bus transfer to airport good and fast. Bus transfer back to hotel 45mins as last stop on loop - taxi from airport only few pounds more than fare

We used the taxi transfers so cannot comment on the bus transfers as there were three of us it was roughly the same price. So we decided for speed an convenience to use the taxi's. The room was amazing an overall excellent value for the price.

Pre-Authorisation Policy
A pre-authorisation of up to £50.00 is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable 7-10 days after check-out provided no additional charges have been incurred.

Coming off at Junction 10 from the M23, follow the signpost to the A264 for East Grinstead. At the first roundabout head straight over, you will then shortly arrive at another roundabout.
At the Copthorne roundabout take the 4th exit, just passed the turning for the Copthorne Hotel sign posted for Three Bridges on the A2220.
Proceed down Copthorne Road, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the Balcombe Road, continue down this road past the Hillside Inn pub on your left.
Approaching a mini roundabout, take the first exit onto Turners Hill Road.
Travel along Turners Hill Road, after the Flyover take the first left into the Hotel which is situated 100yards on the first exit on the right hand side.
From the Copthorne Roundabout the hotel has brown signposts along the route.

Parking is on site at hotel, youÂ’ll need to give your keys to the hotel in case your car needs to be moved into the long stay area of the car-park whilst youÂ’re away.
Overnight Parking will be chargeable at £10 if you have not booked an on site parking package.

Is the cost of the shuttle bus to and from the airport included in the price quoted.The price quoted does not include the cost for airport transfers. They are as follows
What about transfers to the Airport ? Cost ? Regularity ? Length of journey ?They have regular transfers to the airport. It takes 10 - 15 minutes.Transfers run every hour between 04:22 and 23:22 outside these hours taxis can be booked at clients own cost.
