Very small parking spaces, had a lot of trouble getting into the car as the car next to mine had been parked too close. The exit barrier did not open, me and other 5 drivers had to wait 10 minutes in the middle of the night until the assistance staff opened it for us.

It was all really easy. The only thing that was disappointing is the airport bus on the way back didn’t announce the stops so a few of use were confused as it was very late in the night

Would have given it 4 but it wasn't obvious where to get the shuttle but from and it was only when we were dropped off after the holiday that we realised it was in rhe carpark and not out on the road.! Number plate wasn't recognized on way out and had to call for help but operator was very polite and helpful.

We thought the car parking was very good, we didn't have any problems, but the car in front of us did, which had a long wait before anyone attended to his call. As there was only one entrance this caused us to be delayed and subsequent cars behind, one of which kept moaning at us! I think a highlighted remind to remember where you have parked your car might help too. We wrote ours down, so didn't have a problem, but could imagine two weeks layer having to wander all around looking for your car. Perhaps a tad expensive for a car park so far away, but bus service was regular and very good.

Having the number recognised to open up the car park is really good, the coach took us away almost immediately. Only downside was the state of the road, it was not smooth but lumpy which the coach only just coped with. At the end of the holiday the road was really noticeably lumpy as the coach quickly got to the various stops before Jet Park 1. The car was recognised on the way out automatically and nobody was needed to get our keys as we kept them safely ourselves.

Great location although it wasn’t explained that there would be nobody to meet us and just park where you can. Luckily we asked some fellow customers in the car park what we had to do. Some signage would’ve been useful to explain.

Good price but probably the furthest "on airport" car park on site. Not a problem as the bus service was reliable. However, the main reason for deducting a star was the lack of luggage racks on the "bendy" buses. Cases were rolling round on both journeys and causing much nuisance, especially when owners chose to sit away from them. Fit some racks guys!!!

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.Important
During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.
From the North leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the
A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport.
From the South leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.
From the West follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands Airport
Before your arrival at the Airport please ensure you have your booking reference details with you. Upon arrival at the airport, Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the fifth roundabout, go straight to Jet Parks 1 (formerly Shuttle Economy 1 and Car Park 7).
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking
A courtesy coach service operates to provide transport to and from the Terminal Building, please allow 20 minutes for the transfer. Airline recommended check-in times are usually 2 hours prior to departure.
On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you(which will be the ref. starting in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken
