first time at east midlands airport, and first time using FHR at this location.found it all hassle free.well sign posted,no problem at barrier,followed instructions and straight in.on finding space to park whent bus stop in less than 2 minutes bus arrived.on return whent to bus stop,and in less than 5 minutes bus was there to pick up for car park.would deffinately use again.

a little too far away from the terminals yes there are transfer coaches but having to lift suitcases on and off on crowded coaches just too much trouble

Have used jet parks several times and have always been efficient. However arrived back at East mids at 1pm on 21/9 and whilst we and another couple were sheltering from the rain a jet parks bus (empty) turned into the pick up area but didn't stop or park and drove through leaving at least 4 customers very angry. Had to wait another 20 mins for the next transport.

The registration no. recognition did not work on entering the car park & had to get assistance from attendant. Jet park 1 does not have clearly defined parking bays, My husband had to squeeze into his drivers side & reverse out to let me in as the cars either side had parked too close. The lighting could be better, we arrived back at 1am to find the lights were out at our section. Overall not too much to put us off & will probably use this service again,

The booking process was simple & the car parks are easy to find and use. There is no real difference between jet park 1 & 2, they are directly next door to each other but the shuttle bus drives a set route which goes through jet park 1 first, so it is arguably slightly quicker to use that car park?

Directions for Jet Parks 1

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Important

During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.

From the North leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the
A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport.
From the South leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.
From the West follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands Airport

Before your arrival at the Airport please ensure you have your booking reference details with you. Upon arrival at the airport, Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the fifth roundabout, go straight to Jet Parks 1 (formerly Shuttle Economy 1 and Car Park 7).

Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking

A courtesy coach service operates to provide transport to and from the Terminal Building, please allow 20 minutes for the transfer. Airline recommended check-in times are usually 2 hours prior to departure.

On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you(which will be the ref. starting in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken
