On arrival we parked our car, a bus was approaching so we ran towards the stop as the bus went passed... clearly saw us running and waving and just drove off... we the ran to jet parks two car park waving at the same bus but continued to drive off... as we got stuck in traffic on the way we had worries of missing our flight so was quite stressful. The return on the other hand was easy, the bus waited for everyone to board and got us safely back to our car but unfortunately because of the beginning we won’t be using this parking service again.

All went well. 4 star as the ANPR at Jetparks1 EMA did not open the gate so had to wait 5 mins then call control to be given a token from the machine. This was not explained before. All in great deal anyway.

Only problem was on return to car park the vehicle recognition did not work & they wanted me to insert my credit card. I eventually spoke to some one who lifted the barrier.

Very easy to find and to park up. The transfer bus arrived soon after we had parked so we didn't have a long wait. On the way back, the bus came within a few minutes of us arriving outside arrivals and it didn't take long to get back to our car. All in all a very easy process and we would happily use this car park again.

Parked for 9 days. No problems. Although the only downside is narrow parking spaces. Entrance and exit no problems. My advice for people is crawl up to barriers for the ANPR.

Although knowing where you left the car is the owners responsibility I found it difficult to find my car on return. I had inadvertently entered jet 2 parking when I should have been in jet 1 so as you can imagine it took quite a while to find my car. I think clearer sign posts at the enterence would have helped greatly. A more obvious way to ask for help would have also helped

Excellent, all went to plan even with a car change and a flight time change, arrived, straight in and parked easily, on return collected car and drove out with no problems. Only a few minutes from the terminal building with connecting buses running frequently. Thanks for making it easy

Sat Nav took us to wrong carpark the lady said it happens all the time.then not sure what to do when we got there as usually go into an office to hand key over ect.not clear instructions as what to do.had to wait 20 mins for a bus. But relieved when barriers went up at the out as had no ticket or papers.but will use again as I know what to do now.

Directions for Jet Parks 1
You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.Important
During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.
From the North leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the
A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport.
From the South leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.
From the West follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands Airport
Before your arrival at the Airport please ensure you have your booking reference details with you. Upon arrival at the airport, Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the fifth roundabout, go straight to Jet Parks 1 (formerly Shuttle Economy 1 and Car Park 7).
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking
A courtesy coach service operates to provide transport to and from the Terminal Building, please allow 20 minutes for the transfer. Airline recommended check-in times are usually 2 hours prior to departure.
On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you(which will be the ref. starting in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken
All buses are DDA compliant - they are able to accommodate wheelchairs
