The bus service from the airport (return) was a little haphazard. The buses were experiencing problems with a queue of DHL lorries blocking the road which meant only one bus was able to make it to the airport. This apparently happens a lot at night! Consequently the bus was overfull and made for an uncomfortable journey.

Ok, quite a distance from the terminal but didn't have to wait long for shuttle buses at all.

This was easy to book, but when we arrived at the airport the car parks were so full we had to be re-directed to another car park where they had to take the barriers off as they weren't working Therefore making a lot of people delayed for check in.(Would be better if the company reserved pre booked places therefore guaranteeing you make your check in on time) Upon our return we had to call for assistance as we hadn't been issued a barrier tkt but this was quite straight forward & we were soon on our way home. This is the first time we have encountered a problem it wouldn't put me off booking again.

Did the job that we required but hardly any spaces and they had to be hunted out,a lot of cars poorly parked not helping matters as regards to spaces and getting round the car park to find them.

We had booked in so getting on to the site was easy but because the car park was so full it took us a very long time to find a parking spot. There were no indications to show vacant slots. Would not have wanted to try and find the car in total darkness even though we had made a note of where are car was parked. However, even with these adverse comments we would still use the site again, because of the value for money.

The car park which we booked was full and we were transfered to another car park, we had difficuly in finding parking space in the alternative park. This all took time, fortunatly we were early so it did not create a problem, but could have.

We wondered why the directions to the car park sent us all through the airport when we could have gone straight to the car park by going one roundabout further along the A453.

Directions for Jet Parks 2

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.

From the North leave the M1 at Jct 24 and follow signs to the airport, take the A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport main entrance. From the South leave the M1 at Jct 23a and follow signs to the airport. Turn right into the main entrance. From the West follow A50 to Jct 24 then follow signs to the airport. Turn right into the airport main entrance. Upon arrival at the airport,

Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the fifth roundabout, go straight into Shuttle Economy 2 (formerly Shuttle Economy 2 and Car Park 7). Please make a note of the zone where you have parked your car.

On arrival at the car park:
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking

On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you (which will be the ref. starting EH in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken.
Important
This voucher is only valid for the car park booked and is non refundable within 24 hours prior to the use date.
