Meet and GreetPark Mark Award

Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Follow the signs for the Short Stay Car Park, take the middle lane signed Short Stay Car Park and Meet & Greet. At the entry barrier press the ticket request button and take a ticket. Drive straight ahead, then bear left following signs

What is the pick-up procedure?

When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

What security measures does the car park have?

CCTV and holds the Park Mark Secure Parking award.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Your booking will be subject to the car park's terms and conditions Height Restriction: 2 meters

I can only give three stars, probably only a two and a half. Not a genuine meet and greet, you have to find your way and park up, no different to normal parking. Try comparison with your same at Manchester, completely different. Signage on arriving too small also, too easy to get wrong, and then costly also. Maybe you should change the title, for customers to make better judgement calls, again no meeting and no greeting. If using East midlands again would have to reconsider my options. Had to find my own car, would have expected it dropping off in front of me, that is the norm for meet and greet, having used this format many times before.

Whilst quick and easy to check and drop and again to get keys to vehicle, your car can be parked quite some distance from the kiosk, thus you can get quite a soaking getting to the car and loading your bags if it's raining.

Not what I'd call meet and greet. On arrival we collected the key and then walked to the other side of the car park, just pleased it wasn't raining.

i have used your services many times before and have been happy with the service i only have only fault this time and some might find it petty but my interior windscreen was filthy , where someone had not demist the window they had just wiped the interior and left smear marks. I know this sound petty to some but i always wait for window to clear and not wipe it it. I had to clean the window before i could leave airport so i could see where i was going. this is not what you would want to do when you have had a long journey and a toddler who is very tired

NOT THE TYPE OF MEET AND GREET WE HAVE EXPERIENCED BEFORE AT OTHER AIRPORTS I WOULD DESCRIBE IT AS AN IMPROVED VERSION OF A SHORT STAY ARRANGEMENT.

Very easy to book the meet and greet at East Midlands. Directions easy to follow. Only down side was it took a while to complete the paperwork before we could go to airline check in. It's definitely quicker than using sky park and we will use it again.

Directions for Meet and Greet

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Arriving at the car park
Drive to the Meet and Greet car park and head to the barrier, which will photograph the condition of your car and lift automatically. Park in one of the arrival bays near the meet and greet reception and head inside to check in your car. Hand over your keys to a member of the team and a fully insured driver will park it for you at a secured site while you're away.

From there take the short 2-minute walk to departures.

Returning to the car park
When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

Accessibility
This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility as a shuttle bus isn't required. However the car park is unable to accept adapted vehicles. If you need any assistance let the car park know before you arrive.

The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Are roofbox ok along as overall height is under 3 meters? As long as the overall height is under 3 metres you will be fine with the roofbox.
