Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Follow the signs for the Short Stay Car Park, take the middle lane signed Short Stay Car Park and Meet & Greet. At the entry barrier press the ticket request button and take a ticket. Drive straight ahead, then bear left following signs

What is the pick-up procedure?

When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

What security measures does the car park have?

CCTV and holds the Park Mark Secure Parking award.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

Brilliant Now that the building works are complete EMA Meet & Greet is right next to arrivals. We were through the airport and driving away within 10 minutes.

The extra paid for Meet & Greet was a waste of money. We have parked at East Midlands many times before and used the on-site parking very close to Departures which means a short walk outdoors. The Meet & Greet was no different. If it had been raining we would have been soaked. Basically the Meet & Greet is just another car park a little nearer to the terminal than the normal car parks. We were not "met" by anyone - we had to park our car and report to a portakabin. When we returned our car was parked as far away from arrivals than the normal car park would have been.

Excellent service. Simple to drop off, no advanced calls or waiting. Collection is just as straightforward, simply collect your bags and walk 100 yds to the desk and my car was ready and 50 yd walk. One of the best meet and greets I've used.

Great service, drove in parked in line dropped keys off and walked across the road to departures, on arrival went into office collected keys and drove away well worth the extra £5 from the normal long stay.

Directions for Meet and Greet

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Arriving at the car park
Drive to the Meet and Greet car park and head to the barrier, which will photograph the condition of your car and lift automatically. Park in one of the arrival bays near the meet and greet reception and head inside to check in your car. Hand over your keys to a member of the team and a fully insured driver will park it for you at a secured site while you're away.

From there take the short 2-minute walk to departures.

Returning to the car park
When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

Accessibility
This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility as a shuttle bus isn't required. However the car park is unable to accept adapted vehicles. If you need any assistance let the car park know before you arrive.

The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Are roofbox ok along as overall height is under 3 meters? As long as the overall height is under 3 metres you will be fine with the roofbox.
