Meet and GreetPark Mark Award

Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Follow the signs for the Short Stay Car Park, take the middle lane signed Short Stay Car Park and Meet & Greet. At the entry barrier press the ticket request button and take a ticket. Drive straight ahead, then bear left following signs

What is the pick-up procedure?

When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

What security measures does the car park have?

CCTV and holds the Park Mark Secure Parking award.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Your booking will be subject to the car park's terms and conditions Height Restriction: 2 meters

Excellent service. A bit slow on entry because the attendant needed to explain to new comers. The only thing missing was someone to take the car from you, but I knew that.

Reasonably convenient, but not true meet and greet, more park, walk, check in, walk. Parking in close to terminal, but meet and greet at other airports means someone meeting you at your car, rather than you having to park and then walk to check in your car.

Perfect, 5 minutes max between drop off and queuing in Arrivals and less than 5 minutes between departures and sitting in car. Only issue was that everything (seats, mirrors, steering wheel) had been adjusted and I couldn't remember how to adjust some things back (especially at 3 in the morning) having said that I'll definitely use the same service the next time I go from East Midlands

Rather chaotic getting into airport area with long queues to the meet and greet area. It was drizzling when we arrived and we had to park the car quite a bit away from where we had to check the car in and then had to queue again to check it in at the desk. Nothing like as good a service as the Meet and Greet at Heathrow, the only meeting was being directed to park the car.

This was the scond time I have used this service, I travelled out on a Thursday and booked in around 13-00hrs to find a huge queue of people not only checking in but collecting the cars as well, the queue was well outside the building and queueing going around the corner. When I eventually got to the desk there was only 2 people on. Surely they should know if the have bookings or not and staff accordingly, but may have been out of their control ie late flight arrival. Not as prompt a service as before, but everything else went well, but made a mockery of a quick service on this occasion.

Very supportive especially on return. My father who is disabled and uses a mobility scooter was very thankful that an attendant brought the car as close as he could to allow me to get the scooter on board without Dad having to wait too long.

Not a specific meet and greet service. You are not met or greeted but required to queue to enter the car park for 15 mins, park your car, leave your keys, walk to the terminal whatever the weather, collect your keys on return and walk to your car. No different to parking in a car park.

Directions for Meet and Greet

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Arriving at the car park
Drive to the Meet and Greet car park and head to the barrier, which will photograph the condition of your car and lift automatically. Park in one of the arrival bays near the meet and greet reception and head inside to check in your car. Hand over your keys to a member of the team and a fully insured driver will park it for you at a secured site while you're away.

From there take the short 2-minute walk to departures.

Returning to the car park
When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

Accessibility
This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility as a shuttle bus isn't required. However the car park is unable to accept adapted vehicles. If you need any assistance let the car park know before you arrive.

The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Are roofbox ok along as overall height is under 3 meters? As long as the overall height is under 3 metres you will be fine with the roofbox.
