Meet and GreetPark Mark Award

Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Follow the signs for the Short Stay Car Park, take the middle lane signed Short Stay Car Park and Meet & Greet. At the entry barrier press the ticket request button and take a ticket. Drive straight ahead, then bear left following signs

What is the pick-up procedure?

When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

What security measures does the car park have?

CCTV and holds the Park Mark Secure Parking award.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Your booking will be subject to the car park's terms and conditions Height Restriction: 2 meters

Very good. Only comment would be that it was not obvious there was only one exit gate. Thought there were 2 last time I left the your car park.

Close to airport parking. Used to be meet and great now it's only parking by airport entry. Still it's OK.

The Meet and Greet system has greatly improved since last time used, two years ago, although the process of going through the barriers on arrival was slow, due to the large number of cars. Upon our return, the car was parked a little further away than we expected, but we understand the logistics involved.

My first time at East Midlands will defiantly use the meet and greet again. The instructions were very easy, upon arrival signs were very clear, vehicle parked near Fhr office, handed over keys and then walked to terminal which was only 5 mins away. An excellent service highly recommended.

Not really a meet and greet service at East Midlands. All that you do is drop off your car in the short term car park, go to a kiosk and wait to be served. There they take your key. On return you have to queue again at the same kiosk and wait to be served again. They return your key and tell you where your car is parked in the short term car park. On this occasion my car was not in the position I was told so had to go back and rejoin the queue to be told sorry we gave you the wrong information your car is park 100 yards away. when I eventually found the car the tyres were really muddy and bus steaks on the bodywork so the car had presumably been stored in a field somewhere. Not worth the extra payment over and above the long stay car park. This is in contrast to other airports where Meet and Greet is great

I thought the parking charge very expensive compared to meet and greet at Manchester and would probably choose to travel from there in future for that reason. On site parking may be a benefit but when you have to fetch your car in the rain it's not one that I appreciate. I could have been told I did not need a ticket or money for the barrier, the online instruction suggests you will be given a pound coin

Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was the queue when I reached the airport. 45 minutes. I chose this service for time and convenience but probably would have been quicker to park myself on the long stay carpark. No complaints for return though as all ran like clockwork.

Excellent meet and greet service. Arrived at the barrier entrance to the car park slightly ahead of schedule. After just a short wait, was directed to the relevant parking bay. Then walked a short distance to the office to hand over the keys. On return, the process was equally efficient. Returned to the office just near arrivals hall, collected keys and was back at the car within just a few minutes. Took all the stress and strain of visiting an unfamiliar airport. Would definitely recommend and if I was to use this airport again, would certainly use the meet and greet service.

Straight forward and easy enough process. Parking instructions not 100% accurate eg go through barrier because there wasn't a barrier. You will be given. £1 to leave the exit ??

Directions for Meet and Greet

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Arriving at the car park
Drive to the Meet and Greet car park and head to the barrier, which will photograph the condition of your car and lift automatically. Park in one of the arrival bays near the meet and greet reception and head inside to check in your car. Hand over your keys to a member of the team and a fully insured driver will park it for you at a secured site while you're away.

From there take the short 2-minute walk to departures.

Returning to the car park
When you return walk back to the car park's reception to collect your car. They'll give you a ticket to insert into the machine when you exit.

Accessibility
This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility as a shuttle bus isn't required. However the car park is unable to accept adapted vehicles. If you need any assistance let the car park know before you arrive.

The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Are roofbox ok along as overall height is under 3 meters? As long as the overall height is under 3 metres you will be fine with the roofbox.
