Our flight from Amsterdam was cancelled and the replacement went to Heathrow,so we were considerately later than booked. I was expecting to have a problem at the car park, But No they were very helpful and under standing. Thank you.

Booked East midlands short stay 3. Had to change car reg at last minute. FHR dealt with it immediately and efficiently. Great service again as I have had issues with parking before and they have come through with customer friendly solutions. Pulled up to the barrier with plate recognition in and out. No tickets, keep your keys. Could not be easier. Short stroll to terminal building both ways.

The FHR booking system and communications were very good. Proximity to the airport was as expected. The price was good too but the car park was not great. Spaces are smallish, signposting is not great - we drove down a row into a dead end and had to reverse back, signposting for pedestrians was poor, lighting was not great and we arrived back to rain at nighttime and had to contend with lots of puddles across the uneven car park surface.

No trouble with parking the car once the actual car park was located. In the early hours signposting of the Short Stay 3 car park left much to be desired. Once found entry and exit was easy and straghtforward. FHR had done their part of the work well.

First class! We were very late back due to being flown back to Leeds then bussed to East Midlands. A real pain but then drove up to the barrier and no problem whatsoever. I’d certainly use this parking service again!

Directions for Short Stay 3

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Important

During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.

Getting here
On arrival at the airport main entrance, please turn left at the roundabout and then follow signs to Short Stay 3.

If using sat nav please ensure you input the following coordinates exactly in order to reach the entrance: N52.823814 W1.333670

On arrival at the car park:
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking
On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you (which will be the ref. starting EH in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken
