Parking and journey to airport on arrival at the car park was good but unfortunately had to wait over an hour at airport on return for bus to pick us up which was not a good experience. However it’s not something that has happened before and may be due to the fact that the usual car park is not available yet and we had to park in a different place

No problem parking disappointed in the small changes that they claim was caused by COVID ' claims which I am not convinced these may seem trivial but I have my reasons e.g Left to park up your vehicle Had to carry car keys with me

This was different to previous experiences as only 1 man operating it so had to wait for him to come back from the airport. The sign said back in 15 mins but we didn't know when the 15 mins started

Having used Flying Scott many times before, when I arrived at location place was in darkness, after a phone call i was advised they had moved premises. Flying Scot really need to update their website as it still shows/advises of old address. Despite this, good service and would use again

When I booked I thought it was with Flying Scot. I had used this car park many times before, so I duly drove to the car park to find that it was closed. I then noticed that my booking was for Flying Scot at Low cost Parking and was in a different location. It was too late for me to go there, so I had to ask if another park at the airport would take me.This cost me a further £34. Whilst I accept that the fault is mine, as I should have double checked the reservation, I feel that there was insufficient information regarding the change to Flying Scot proivided at the time of booking, and on your website.

It was not so easy to find when I arrived, and it took a while to find my car when I got back. Otherwise, fine, the pick-up and drop off were fine, and the driver helpful.

Directions for Low Cost Airport Parking at Flying Scot
Arrival ProcedurePark in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.
Larger commercial vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival
You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer
Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.
From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.
From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.
On return
On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.
All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
