The experience was good apart from the airport trying to charge me £150 when I inserted my ticket on exiting the car park! This has happened before at Edinburgh and I was not delayed too much.

Always use this car park when going on holiday so easy to find and buses are regularly coming and going. Never even bother looking at any others. Always get 5 stars from me. Driver even came to my car and picked me up last time. Professional and efficient

Parking was easy and straightforward on arrival. When I called for pick up from Premier Inn this morning I was told to wait at bus stop at 9.15am. Was getting fed up by 9.25am as it was raining and windy when a Flying Scot bus went past us. I frantically waved at the driver who thankfully saw us and turned at the roundabout and came back. I asked if he'd forgotten about us but he said he hadn't been told we were waiting.

I used the plane parking service in September 2023. The booking process was straightforward and quick. The email confirmation was detailed with precise directions to parking terminal. I managed to secure a parking place fairly quickly. There was two pick up points for access /egress. The journey to the airport terminal was short and quick, there is a regular service. It was easy to find the pick-up stance on my return. Overall very happy with the service I received. The best part: you keep your car keys, that's important to me, as your car can be moved otherwise by the transfer operator, which from experience can have negative connotations.

Booking and parking was all straightforward. Bus pickups were excellent. Ticket did not scan on exit but assistance call from the barrier quickly solved the issue.

Excellent location at Edinburgh Planeparking. Easy to find the car park and although it was busy there were plenty of available spaces. Short walk to the nearest bust stop where a bus was waiting. A short walk to the departure gates. On our return we just missed a bus but one arrived within 10 minutes. Drivers polite and helpful.

NEW LOCATION FROM JUNE 2022 - 10 MIN TRANSFER - BUSES EVERY 12 MINUTESPlease note: Postcode EH12 9DN is for the airport, please ensure you follow the below directions or use GPS coordinates 55.946071, -3.346477
Located at the Airport with great views of the East runway.
Catch the bus to the terminal. Buses run every 12 mins, and drops-off and picks up at East Terminus.
Coming from the A8 Glasgow Road, along Eastfield Road, follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport and at the roundabout at the Moxy / DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel turn right, and take the third exit
Go past the car rental centre and over the tram tracks
Once over the tram tracks, there is another roundabout. Take the third exit and continue along the road following signs for Plane Parking.
On arrival
Drive up to the barriers and the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system will read your vehicle registration number and automatically issue you with a ticket. The ticket will show your vehicle registration number, and this will correspond to the booking details we have for you on our system.
Once parked, please make your way to one of the two Plane Parking bus stops located within the car park.
The free shuttle bus arrives once every 12 minutes, with a short 10 minute journey to the terminal.
Customers who require PRM assistance should contact airport services, for assistance on arrival day.
Departure:
To exit the car park, drive up the barrier and insert your ticket. The system will check your details and the barrier will open. If there are any problems, press the intercom button to talk to our staff.
Make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
Please note - don't turn off early and park in NCP Scotpark as this is not an Edinburgh Airport car park and your booking won't be valid.
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 2 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 2 hour grace period on return. If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Edinburgh Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £40 per day or part thereof (subject to change)

If you know in advance of your return that you do need to park for longer than your pre-booked period, you can also book the additional days ad times on the web site. You must make sure you book for the same car park. On return press the buzzer and quote both booking reference numbers.
