What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in time *** The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus. You will be required to leave your keys with Reception. LWB - Long wheelbase vans that measure over 5.3m are charged double. Please note LWB's may not be accepted in the Summer months. Please check availability and pricing by email or phone. Motorbikes are accepted

Arrival was just as in the past, pleasant with efficient staff in the office despite the very early hour. Our driver failed to announce that he was at South and no-one got off until we arrived at North which he did announce. He then helpfully pointed us towards the train which very efficiently took us back to South and a very short time. The lesson is that wherever you asre dropped you are only five minutes from where you want to be. Return was much less efficient. We telephoned five times, four times the phone was put down, on the fifth time we got through and told where to go, There was quite a delay until the bus arrived and we were startled to be asked for our ticket. We had no idea what the driver was talking about. On arrival we went to collect our keys and were left completely bemused as there was no explanation as to the new parking system, We left eventually feeling that the friendly parking era had come to an end.

Pretty smooth process. Easy to drop off the car and keys. Then had to wait around 15mins for the bus to depart. If the buses depart at specific times it would be helpful to know. Around 15mins drive to Gatwick North Terminal. Pick up also straightforward. Easy to get to the bus stop. Waited around 10mins for the bus. Very full bus. Standing room only for some. Overall good value.

Your service was fine but Cophall Parking was disappointing. I've used them many times in the past but on this occasion they seemed disinterested in the customer and I was caused to complain on my return. I would use you again but probably not Cophall.

My honest opinion is not too bad for value,polite staff,second booking! However my last experience at this car park, I was quite disappointed with how may car was treated. There was so much mud on my wheels & tailgate. I wondered if it was parked & left in a field. The mileage had increased considerablyÂ… staff was apologetic about it, but my advice to staff is to have more due care and attention to how you handle customers vehicles. To customers,Be advised to take photos of the mileage and a video inventory of your car before you leave it, that way itÂ’s recorded info: either wayÂ’no dramas!

Parking and journey to airport were easy. We had a long wait for the coach to take us back to the car park when we returned even though we had phoned as requested. It seemed that other operators had more frequent services. Also the instructions to find our car were garbled, which did not help.

Directions for Cophall Parking Gatwick

From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.

From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.


If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for RH10 3HZ - Please allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Our overflow car park also carries the Park Mark® Award, is fully insured, has CCTV and less than 1 mile away.

Late Returns:
If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day’s parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change), (or part day thereof) after your booked return date.

Do you have far to walk to your car when you return? I will be on my own and wondering if I would have to walk miles to my car with cases at 6am after an all night flightYou will collect your car from the reception area on return, so no need to go looking for it in the car park
Is a Kia Sportage considered a standard size vehicle?Yes a Kia Sportage is classed as a regular  standard type vehicle as it fits into a normal car parking space
