Booking through FHR was a breeze... And at the Cophall Parking centre, everything went like clockwork. The staff member who attended to me at the reception desk was courteous and approachable. There was practically no waiting to be served at the counter. Drop off to and pick up from the airport terminal (Gatwick Nirth Terminal, on this occasion) were handled efficiently with minimal waiting. The minibus drivers were very helpful in loading and off loading our luggage on and from the bus respectively. We couldn't have hoped for a better service and we'll certainly be using Cophall again.

I've used Cophall before and always found them to be reliable, and have not had to wait too long for a shuttle bus (either dropping off or picking up). This time was an exception which makes me wonder whether or not to go on using them. We arrived at 5am for a 7:30 flight. We were still waiting for a shuttle bus at 5:30 am - I think it was eventually about 35 minutes after arriving that we were actually picked up to be taken to the airport - so we actually got to the terminal about 50 minutes after arriving at Cophall. There was a big queue, and it was being managed well, but there was just not enough minibuses to handle the numbers at that time.

As usual really efficient & have used them many many times before - so tried & tested. However, the return leg was not so good. Driver arrived at Bus Stop 6 to pick me up. He couldnt even be bothered to get out of the van & simply nodded me to open the slidey door & let myself in. When i said what about my suitcase again he instructed me to pull it into the cabin & put it in front of me. I didnt want to as it would keep rolling on me so i laid it on the seats behind. He'd told me it was only me being picked up. Then told me it was only one other couple. TWO couples turned up so i offered to move my suitcase. At THIS point he then said did i want to put it in the back (as if it had been MY idea to put my case inside & on the seats). I replied rather tersely 'that it what i asked for initially but you declined'. Anyway he unbelievably went straight to the back of the van & stood there waiting for me to bring him the case that he had initially declined to put in the back of the van. So i got out & saw he wasnt gonna budge so walked halway & rolled it the rest. It fell over (accidentally) & he wasnt pleased from the way he shut the back doors & then pulled away. Usually CPH drivers are SO polite, so interactive, so chatty & so nice. This guy - less so. And after a 1.5 flight delay it was the last thing i needed at midnight. IF it was just for him i would never use CPH again.

Have used this car park many times over the years without any problem. You drive in, park your car near the office, go in and get greeted by a friendly face, hand over keys and board the mini bus waiting outside and off to the terminal. On the return journey you phone the office after clearing customs and by the time you walk to the bus stop the mini bus is often waiting as it was yesterday. Straight back to the office, collect keys and token to exit the car park and you are on your way home. The amazing thing about booking with FHR is that it is cheaper than booking direct with Cophall even with the loyalty discount that is offered to returning customers

This is a non-flexible product – standard terms and conditions do not apply. Once booked, reservations cannot be cancelled or amended.From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.
From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.
Arrival procedure:
