Parking in itself was OK, but the wait for the bus at 3 am in a massive long queue was horrendous at 3 am, why wouldnt more buses be put on when planes are scheduled?

WE fly ema regulatory and use jet parks 1 no issues despite flight missed due to download rock concert shit traffic management all good bus shuttle drivers very helpful on return after a barrier issue that wvening will use again as very competitive price for the week.

We were let down at the last minute so had to find a car parking space at short notice at East Midlands airport. Jet parks was easy to book on line but we found the cost at £121 much more expensive than the £90 charged by the airport long stay. Easy to get in and out and bus service worked well.

Unfortunately on arrival the barrier didn't lift, the telephone help button didn't get a response and time was pressing on. The out barrier was missing so I eventually reversed (after around 5/6 minutes waiting and re adjusting my car position to see if the anpr would pick up the number plate) and entered that way! On my return the barrier was still missing therefore I drove out without issue!

Well sign posted and easy to get there. Car park was very busy and it took a few minutes to find a space. Parking spaces are not defined and ground was a little bit rough for my rollator but I managed ok. Bus service to and from the airport was excellent with friendly drivers.

Directions for Jet Parks 1

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Important

During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.

From the North leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the
A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport.
From the South leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.
From the West follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands Airport

Before your arrival at the Airport please ensure you have your booking reference details with you. Upon arrival at the airport, Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the fifth roundabout, go straight to Jet Parks 1 (formerly Shuttle Economy 1 and Car Park 7).

Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking

A courtesy coach service operates to provide transport to and from the Terminal Building, please allow 20 minutes for the transfer. Airline recommended check-in times are usually 2 hours prior to departure.

On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you(which will be the ref. starting in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken

All buses are DDA compliant - they are able to accommodate wheelchairs

Important: This voucher is only valid for the car park booked and is non refundable within 24 hours prior to the use date.
